1.
A flash of light, this time we got it right and the pain is infinite. In the patriotic waste this is the greatest day in human history. We'll never learn, we love to watch the cities burn all through the night. They say they can see the glowing factories that rust in a no man's land, Poisoning belief in a cherished fantasy of sacred circumstance. But we'll never learn we love to watch the cities burn all through the night where there is no life for us to lose
2.
Last Resort 03:00
They’re paving over the last resort with a substance never seen before and there’s no more joy, no more pain just cold, sterile happiness for every human brain. There’s no more pain to medicate and no victories to celebrate, no wars to fight and no loss of life just silent, lonely dying away in this paradise of light. The neighborhoods where we used to roam are buried in these glowing stones on endless days where it never rains and the money smiles at the blood washed down the drain, at the life washed down the drain, the life that slips away, always so suddenly, too early or too late, the last one slips away.
3.
Duck and cover lie and cover the children's eyes. Run for shelter when you know there's no place to hide. In the age of the peaceful atom so full of grace, in the age of the peaceful atom we feel so safe. Worship science and the saints of human greed. Keep believing, dry your eyes when they bleed. In the age of the peaceful atom so full of grace, in the age of the peaceful atom his kingdom came. Duck and cover, lie and cover the children's eyes. Run for safety when you know there's nowhere left to hide. In the age of the peaceful atom so full of grace, in the age of the peaceful atom his kingdom came. In the age of the peaceful atom so full of grace, in the age of the peaceful atom there's no escape
4.
The innocent believe in a blood drenched fantasy in all holy wars and a cause worth fighting for. In a leap of faith I've seen them throw their minds away and feel no more pain, they never question anything. In a leap of faith all it takes is a leap of faith it's just a leap away. Is this happiness? Is this all that exists for me? I'm on my knees in a lofty butchery without a leap of faith. You learn to love the lie, god's creatures multiply and when they're under fire they perish with a smile and a leap of faith all it takes is a leap of faith to throw a life away.

Too Late 03:05
Last night I dreamed that I was adrift in a poison sea beneath the towers where the future flows in streams. I had no memory of how I arrived in this fateful place where the walls were swept away in the waves, in the waves. There were bodies on the shoreline in the rays of the brightest sun and there was a dose for everyone. As the water rose around me I could see there was no escape and the only thing to do was wait. And we wait. Is it now too late? Too late. I awoke in a world of nightmare with the venom in my veins among the hideous flowers of the human brain. These are the urgent hours, these are the only days and the safest thing to do is wait. And we wait, we always wait. Is it now too late to change the course? Too late
6.
Dreams 02:38
The cries of agony cannot disturb our sleep, and the rain that shatters streets will never penetrate our dreams, our sacred dreams. 21 long centuries have produced a reality in which we cannot move or speak and the air's too hot for us to breathe, and still we dream our sacred dreams. The newborn baby in your hands - how will it ever understand? Each night its tortured cries and screams come round to vex your sleep and haunt your dreams. They haunt your dreams.
7.
Sacrifice 02:00
Sacrifice sacrifice of human life and centuries, centuries of agony in a promised land fled with praying hands. In this promised land full of praying hands. They always lie when they tell you why you had to die in sacrifice.
8.
Razor's Edge 01:53
In the labyrinths of winter there's no easy way ahead and the rain consumes the city when you're lost on the razor's edge. When there's nothing left to live for and they're counting up the dead, you balance on the hours, walking on the razor's edge. But the idiots are laughing and bleeding from the head. Then they feed it to the infant crawling on the razor's edge. All the dreams we tried to shelter and all the words we ever said now seem so cold and hollow out here on the razor's edge. In the labyrinths of winter there's no easy way ahead and the rain consumes the city, falling on the razor's edge.
9.
Running 02:48
You awake in a panic, it's still so long before the dawn but any hope of sleep is gone. The vision lingers - a cloud of smoke that fills the air and the people running from the square, confusion everywhere. You're always running from your mind, consumed by fire every time. You look in the mirror, see the ashes darkening the sky and the people running from the light. The cries of terror, the bodies scattered all around the black rain upon the lifeless ground - now the only sound. You're always running from your mind, consumed by fire every time. Running...
10.
There's so much energy in these ultramodern cities of despair where it's more than just the night ahead that's darkening the air. An image flickers on the surface concealing its destructive purpose before the storm. The drunken laughter fills the frozen streets where others sleep in the night - a just and circumstantial culture. Where joy and misery collide the friction renders paradise and the air is suddenly so warm before the storm. The air was suddenly so warm before the storm.
